This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) outlines how we collect, use, store, and share your personal information when you use our app and services. Your privacy is important to us, and we are committed to protecting your personal information in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. By using Soyas, you agree to the terms of this Policy. If you do not agree with any part of this Policy, please do not use our services. 4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. However, we may share it in the following circumstances:

4.1 AI Service Providers Used in App Flow

We share only the data needed to provide each AI feature:
  • ElevenLabs (elevenlabs.io): receives voice audio during active live conversation sessions for real-time voice processing.
  • OpenAI (openai.com): receives post-session transcript text for transcript analysis and learning insight generation after a session ends.
Identifier handling in AI requests
  • Name and email are not included in requests sent to ElevenLabs or OpenAI.
  • [NEEDS CONFIRMATION] Direct identifiers are removed from all transcript payloads before sending to OpenAI.

4.2 Other Service Providers

We may share relevant data with service providers that help us operate the app (for example, payment processing, hosting, and customer support), under contractual confidentiality and security obligations. We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or government request.

4.4 During Business Transfers

If Soyas is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your information may be transferred. We will notify you of any such change.

5. AI Services

Before data is shared with AI providers, Soyas presents in-app consent disclosures that explain:
  1. What data is sent
  2. Which provider receives that data
If you do not grant permission, AI-dependent features may be unavailable. Soyas uses ElevenLabs for live voice conversation processing and OpenAI for post-session transcript analysis and insight generation, as described in Section 4.1.

6. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect personal information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and monitoring. No internet transmission or storage system is guaranteed 100% secure.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal information only as long as needed for the purposes in this Policy, unless a longer period is required by law.
  • Account and profile data: retained while your account is active and then deleted or de-identified within [NEEDS CONFIRMATION] after account deletion, unless legally required otherwise.
  • Voice session data and transcript data: retained for service operation and learning features, then deleted or de-identified according to our retention schedule within [NEEDS CONFIRMATION].

8. International Data Transfers

Soyas is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that a child has provided us with personal information, we will delete it immediately.

We may update this Policy periodically. If we make significant changes, we will notify you through the app or other means. Your continued use of Soyas after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Policy.
